    What's Included

    • Winchester Model 1895 Saddle Ring Carbine in .30-40 Krag

This Model 1895 is configured as a true saddle ring carbine with a 22 in barrel and a single barrel band. The left-side saddle ring is classic to the carbine pattern, and the non-detachable box magazine supports a 4-round capacity in .30-40 Krag.

The nickel steel barrel is specifically marked for smokeless powder, with period-correct rollmarks reading '30 U.S.' and 'NICKEL STEEL BARREL ESPECIALLY FOR SMOKELESS POWDER'. Sighting equipment is straightforward and serviceable: a pinned blade front in base and a folding ladder rear sight with an elevator.

Stock configuration is a straight-grip, uncheckered carbine stock with a steel carbine buttplate and trap. The short forend features elongated finger grooves that enhance purchase while preserving the carbine’s compact handling. Length of pull measures 12.75 in.

Made in the USA in 1902, this Winchester Model 1895 represents the carbine variant of the line, pairing the model’s lever-action, non-detachable box magazine system with the portability and sighting setup enthusiasts expect from a saddle ring carbine.
