The G27 Gen3 delivers .40 S&W performance in a true subcompact package. It uses a 3.42" barrel and a 9+1 capacity, making it a small-footprint pistol with a straightforward, proven layout. The matte black finish presents a clean, uniform look across the slide and frame.
The steel barrel uses Glock's polygonal rifling and Tenifer nitrocarburizing for durability and corrosion resistance. The polymer frame includes Gen3 finger grooves with pebbled side panels and checkering on the front and back straps for a secure hold.
Factory fixed polymer sights consist of a white-dot front (pinned) and a white-outline rear, providing a clear, fast sight picture. The Glock Safe Action system uses internal safeties with a trigger safety for consistent operation.
Origin and markings are well-documented: Austrian/CIP proof marks, "MADE IN AUSTRIA GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA." import mark, slide legend "GLOCK 27 AUSTRIA .40," and the barrel hood marked "40" with the Glock logo over "AT."
