This Weatherby Orion is a Japanese-made SKB over/under imported by Weatherby, Inc. during the Atascadero era. It pairs 26 inch blued, vent-rib barrels and 3 inch chambers with a coin-finished, factory-engraved receiver featuring scrollwork and gold game-bird inlays. It includes a full set of stainless screw-in chokes in Skeet, Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full.

Built by SKB in Japan and imported by Weatherby, Inc., Atascadero, California, this Orion aligns with mid-1990s to 2006 production. It is a 12 gauge, two-round over/under with 26 inch barrels and 3 inch chambers.
The receiver is coin-finished and factory engraved with scroll patterns and gold game-bird inlays on the flanks. Markings include ATASCADERO, CALIF MADE IN JAPAN and monobloc stamps NP, W, and 3L26C.
The blued barrels feature a vent rib with a serrated rib top and a brass front bead, providing a clean sighting reference. The chambers are 3 inch, and the gun comes with stainless screw-in chokes in Skeet, Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full.
The action is an over/under boxlock with a single trigger and a top-tang safety. The beavertail forend uses a Deeley-style latch.
Stocked in walnut, it has a pistol grip, fine-cut checkering, and a rubber recoil pad. Length of pull measures 14.25 inches. Serial markings on the barrel monobloc and forend iron are matching.
