    This U.S. Property-marked Remington Model 513-T The Matchmaster is a WWII-contract training/target rifle with documented 1941 production. It features a heavy 27 inch barrel, government inspection and proof marks, and factory drilling and tapping for target blocks. The barrel code reads "XK," identifying December 1941 manufacture, and the rifle retains its classic walnut beavertail target stock and right-side safety.

    Built during WWII for training and target use, this Model 513-T carries desirable U.S. Property markings along with the FJA inspector cartouche and a circled P proof on the stock. The barrel date code reads "XK," indicating December 1941. These U.S.-marked examples are sought after for their documented wartime provenance and purpose-built target configuration.

    The rifle is equipped with a heavy, round 27 inch barrel. Both the barrel and receiver are drilled and tapped for target blocks. One target block is installed, and there is an additional small base fitted ahead of the receiver. A front sight block/ramp is installed, but no front sight element is present, and no rear sight is installed.

    It uses a bolt-action system with a right-side manual safety and a cocking piece. Feeding is from a detachable box magazine with a 6+1 stated capacity, and one 6-round magazine is included.

    The walnut stock features a beavertail fore-end that complements the target barrel, a checkered steel buttplate, and sling swivels. The receiver is steel, the length of pull measures 13.5 inches, and the rifle was manufactured in the United States during the WWII era.
