The base pistol is a Ruger LC380 compact made in the USA and dated to 2015. It uses a short-recoil, locked-breech, double-action-only hammer-fired system in a glass-filled nylon frame with an alloy steel barrel. The compact 3.12 in barrel and slim, single-stack profile define its LC-series footprint.
Dual-caliber flexibility is built in. The installed upper is the Ruger LC9 9mm Conversion Kit, right-side roll-marked "LC9 CONVERSION," with the 9mm barrel hood marked "9mm x 19." The alternate .380 Auto complete upper is included and has a barrel hood marked ".380 AUTO." The slide top carries Ruger's pivoting loaded-chamber indicator labeled "LOADED WHEN UP."
Controls and markings are clear and straightforward. A manual thumb safety shows red/white status dots, and the slide is marked "RUGER • PRESCOTT, AZ • USA." Low-profile iron sights feature a white-dot front and a square-notch rear for a simple, snag-resistant sight picture.
This example includes practical extras and original documentation. The installed LaserMax trigger-guard laser provides a red aiming reference. Three magazines are included, and both the original pistol box and the LC9 Conversion Kit box (P/N 90499) are present along with the manuals and installation instructions.
