It uses the classic West German folded/stamped slide with a pinned breech block and a roll pin above the ejection port. The aluminum alloy frame is hard-anodized and features the non-railed, original-style dust cover along with an integral lanyard loop, keeping the configuration true to the period.
The operating system is DA/SA, recoil-operated, and locked-breech, with a decocking lever for safe transitions. Controls include a standard left-side magazine release, a curved trigger, and a spur hammer. Black checkered two-piece polymer grip panels provide a secure, familiar P226 feel.
