    What's Included

    • Smith & Wesson Model 37 Airweight .38 Special revolver

The Model 37 Airweight combines a steel, pinned 3 inch barrel with a lightweight aluminum alloy frame and a five-shot steel cylinder. This compact J-frame configuration delivers the classic Airweight profile with a longer barrel length and the traditional long-stroke, unshrouded ejector rod. The round-butt grip frame maintains a streamlined form while accommodating service-style stocks.

The revolver uses a double-action/single-action system with an exposed, case-colored hammer. Both the hammer spur and trigger are serrated, and the backstrap and topstrap are serrated as well for confident handling. Sights are fixed, with an integral serrated ramp front and a fixed rear notch.

Factory stocks are checkered walnut service grips with inset S&W medallions. The overall finish is blued/black over the steel components with a dark-finished aluminum alloy frame, presenting a cohesive, period-correct appearance.

Markings include "MOD. 37" in the yoke cut; "MADE IN U.S.A. / MARCAS REGISTRADAS / SMITH & WESSON / SPRINGFIELD, MASS." on the right side of the frame; the S&W circular trademark on the right sideplate; "SMITH & WESSON" on the left side of the barrel; and "AIRWEIGHT" over "38 SPL. CTG." on the right side of the barrel. The yoke/crane shows assembly numbers 47254 and A5.

A J8-prefix serial places production circa 1981, aligning with its pre-1982 pinned-barrel construction and U.S. manufacture.
