The Quantum DTL platform centers on an 18-inch heavy stainless barrel with thermal expansion ring cuts and a threaded muzzle capped by a three-prong flash hider. The barrel seats into Blackout Defense's Dual Taper Lock (DTL) interface that secures the free-float handguard with anti-rotation alignment and a branded underside plate using a multi-screw pattern.
The rifle uses a slick-side upper without a forward assist and includes a shell deflector. A continuous Picatinny rail runs across the upper and the Quantum DTL M-LOK handguard, which features flats and 45-degree facets. The handguard is marked with the model designation and caliber.
Controls are ambidextrous, including the bolt release and magazine release. Furniture includes a B5 Systems Collapsible Precision Stock with tool-less cheek height and buttpad adjustments, a rear QD sling socket, and a B5 Systems pistol grip. Length of pull adjusts from 12.5 to 15 inches.
Chambered in 6mm ARC, this AR-15 platform rifle feeds from Grendel-pattern magazines and has a 15+1 capacity. Receiver markings include MODEL: Q15A on the lower and CALIBER: MULTI on the right side. The rifle is manufactured in the USA.
