This Government-size Custom LW combines a steel slide with a lightweight aluminum alloy frame, delivering the familiar 1911 feel with reduced carry weight. The two-tone look is executed with a matte light-silver slide over a dark gray frame, and the pistol is made in the USA.
Controls and fire-control parts are set up for a clean single-action break, featuring a skeletonized commander-style hammer and a skeletonized 3-hole aluminum trigger. A beavertail grip safety and a single-side manual thumb safety provide the traditional 1911 safety suite.
Fixed 3-dot sights include a front blade with a single white dot and a drift-in rear with two white dots for a clear, consistent sight picture. The double-diamond checkered hardwood grips (rosewood tone) add traction and a classic 1911 aesthetic. Ergonomics include a smooth front strap, vertically serrated mainspring housing, and a mildly beveled magwell.
