The Omni Hybrid platform uses polymer upper and lower receivers with metal reinforcement, as referenced by molded U.S. patent numbers. The 16 inch 5.56×45mm NATO barrel is threaded and capped with a crenellated multi-port muzzle brake to manage recoil and muzzle movement. The rifle operates via direct impingement and uses a manual safety selector.
A free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard provides modern accessory attachment points, while the continuous, T-marked Picatinny rail bridges the receiver and handguard. VISM flip-up front and rear sights are installed, and an angled foregrip is mounted to the handguard. The rifle feeds from STANAG magazines and has a listed capacity of 30+1.
