The P50 is a semi-automatic, straight-blowback pistol chambered in 5.7x28mm. It uses FN P90-pattern top-mounted magazines, delivering a capacity of up to 50+1 rounds with top ejection for a distinctive layout.
The factory 9.6 in barrel is threaded 1/2x28 TPI and is paired here with an installed TANDEMKROSS PRO2 .22LR muzzle brake. Surrounding the barrel is a vented shroud with circular lightening holes that complements the pistol's large-format profile.
A full-length top Picatinny rail runs the length of the receiver, and a short lower accessory rail provides additional mounting space. The pistol incorporates a manual safety and Kel-Tec logo molded grip panels.
The polymer-framed P50 wears a matte black finish and is marked on the receiver with: "KEL-TEC INC COCOA FL / P50 PISTOL 5.7x28mm / Made in the USA Patents Pending." This example includes four 50-round magazines and a bench-style loader for efficient magazine filling.
