The Ranch model configuration delivers a handy 16.10-inch barrel with a threaded muzzle and a medium-taper profile. The barrel is free-floated in the channel to support consistent accuracy, and the 1:8 twist rate suits a broad range of 5.56mm NATO loads. A three-port, side-ported brake is installed at the muzzle.
The action uses a three-lug bolt with a 70-degree lift for ample scope clearance and fast cycling. Ruger’s Power Bedding system secures the receiver in steel bedding blocks for repeatable alignment. The Marksman Adjustable trigger is factory-equipped.
The Flat Dark Earth synthetic stock features molded texturing and a rubber recoil pad, with a 12.75-inch length of pull. Front and rear sling swivel studs are installed, and a sling-stud mounted bipod is attached. Metalwork wears a matte black finish.
This rifle uses the early flush-fit rotary magazine configuration with a 4+1 capacity. The receiver has a one-piece Picatinny scope base installed. There are no iron sights. It is made in the USA and was manufactured in 2015.
