The Kimber 2K11 Target OR is a recent-release, full-size 9mm 1911 built around a stainless steel, fluted, ramped 5.0 inch barrel with a DLC coating and a 1:10 5R LH twist. It pairs an optics-ready slide (RMR footprint) with an adjustable rear sight on the cover plate and a TAG Precision FiberLok 2 red fiber-optic front sight. Capacity is 20+1, and the pistol integrates a large flared magwell, ambidextrous controls, and a full-length dustcover with a 3-slot Picatinny rail for accessories.

The slide features an optic cut with a removable cover plate supporting the RMR footprint, plus lightening cuts, top ports, an external extractor, and brush-polished flats. The coyote/bronze PVD finish contrasts with the black DLC-coated frame for a durable, purpose-driven build.
The frame is stainless steel (DLC coated) with a steel sub-frame and a full-length dustcover that carries a 3-slot Picatinny rail. An aluminum grip module with Type III hardcoat anodizing and aggressive square texturing provides a secure, consistent hold, and the large flared magwell speeds reloads.
The 5.0 inch stainless barrel is fluted, ramped, and DLC coated, using a 1:10 5R left-hand twist. A patent-pending toolless guide rod simplifies maintenance. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety, with a flat-faced, skeletonized trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer.
