The Gallant is built on a U.S.-made, milled/billet steel Galil-pattern receiver marked "GALLANT CAL 5.56" with a James River Armory underside marking and Hebrew selector legends. It uses the classic Galil rock-and-lock magazine interface and is assembled from original Israeli Galil parts sets with a U.S.-made receiver and barrel.
The 18-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a Galil-type three-slot flash hider. A bayonet lug sits under the gas block, and an under-barrel clamp at the front-sight base provides the Galil ARM-style bipod interface. The gas system features vent ports, and the action is a semiautomatic, gas-piston, rotating bolt design.
Sighting is true to the pattern: a hooded front post on the gas block with a flip night sight, paired with a rear aperture on the ribbed top cover with protective wings and a flip night sight. The black polymer two-piece handguard has ribs and vent slots for heat management.
Furniture and controls reflect the Galil lineage, with a right-side folding tubular steel stock (13.5-inch length of pull) and a Phoenix Technology USA black polymer finger-groove pistol grip. Safety is handled by a right-side lever and a left-side thumb selector. Capacity is 35+1 with the included magazines.
