What's Included
- Three .45 ACP single-stack magazines (one marked "Made in U.S.A.")
- OEM manual
Built on the 1911 platform, this Government-size pistol uses Browning short-recoil, tilting-barrel operation and a single-action trigger. It retains the GI configuration with a short solid trigger, GI short-tang grip safety, arched mainspring housing, and a wide spur, checkered hammer.
The slide carries vertical rear serrations and a non-lowered ejection port, staying true to GI pattern details. Fixed iron sights include a blade front and a fixed-notch rear that is drift-adjustable for windage.
Controls are classic and straightforward: a standard left-side magazine release, a manual thumb safety, a grip safety, and a firing-pin block. Capacity depends on the included magazines.
The frame and receiver are steel with a matte finish for a purposeful, military-style look. Checkered synthetic grip panels with raised U.S. logos complete the U.S. Army aesthetic, and the pistol has no accessory rail for a clean GI profile.
Markings include "MODEL 1911A1 U.S. ARMY" on the left side of the slide and "AUTO-ORDNANCE CORP. WORCESTER, MA" on the right side of the frame, underscoring its U.S. manufacture and faithful reproduction intent.
