The CW380 is built on Kahr's locked-breech design with a Browning-type recoil lug, delivering straightforward, reliable operation in a micro footprint. Overall length measures 4.96 in, height 3.9 in, and slide width about 0.75 in, making it one of the slimmest options in its class.
The pinned tritium front night sight teams with a drift-adjustable rear white bar sight for clear indexing. The slide carries rear vertical serrations and a matte stainless finish for a clean, low-glare profile. Inside, the 2.58 in conventional-rifled barrel uses a 1:16 RH twist.
The striker-fired DAO trigger system incorporates a passive striker block, with no manual safety or magazine disconnect. A last-round slide lock provides immediate visual and tactile feedback when the magazine is empty. Capacity is 6+1 using the included 6-round magazines.
