This Garrison-series 1911 is built on a forged stainless steel frame and slide with a stainless match-grade barrel for strength and longevity. The stainless finish is executed with brushed flats and matte rounds, giving it a clean, purposeful look while helping manage glare.
The pistol follows the Government-size pattern with a 5" barrel and GI recoil system using a short guide rod and separate plug. Its smooth, un-railed dust cover preserves classic lines while keeping the profile straightforward.
Controls and fire-control components are set up for confident handling: a semi-automatic, single-action system with an extended left-side thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with memory bump. A long, lightened 3-hole trigger pairs with a skeletonized commander-style rowel hammer.
Sight regulation is handled by low-profile 3-dot, dovetailed sights: a white-dot front and a two-dot rear. The slide includes rear cocking serrations only and a lowered, flared ejection port.
Double-diamond checkered wood grips with Springfield Armory medallions provide a traditional hold. Markings include "SPRINGFIELD ARMORY," "GARRISON," "S.A. .45 AUTO," and "GENESEO IL USA."
