This customized Howa 1500 pairs a short-action 6.5 Creedmoor system with an MDT XRS chassis and an 18-inch heavy-profile stainless barrel for a compact, rigid setup. It comes outfitted with an EGW HD 20-MOA one-piece Picatinny base and a Mounted Digital LED Level, plus a detachable box magazine system with MDT metal magazines. Made in Japan and imported by Legacy Sports, it features a stainless barrel, matte black receiver, and no iron sights.

The MDT XRS chassis gives this rifle a stiff, aluminum core wrapped in a durable polymer shell, finished in tan with gray hardware and panels. It includes an adjustable cheekpiece, a spacer-adjustable length of pull set to 13.5 inches, a rear QD sling socket, and a near-vertical textured grip. The MDT XRS forend provides M-LOK slots with a long gray accessory plate on the underside, and MDT XRS branding is molded on both sides.
The 18-inch heavy-profile stainless barrel is threaded and fitted with a knurled thread protector. A small stamp is noted near the muzzle. There are no iron sights. The stainless barrel contrasts with the matte black steel receiver for a clean, purposeful look.
Mounted on top is an EGW HD 20-MOA one-piece Picatinny base sized for the short action, confirmed by the base marking. A Mounted Digital LED Level sits adjacent to the base to help maintain a consistent, level hold.
This Howa 1500 runs a detachable box magazine system with MDT metal magazines. Capacity is listed at 12+1. The included magazines are marked .308; markings on the bodies indicate 12-round graduations, while the listing specifies three 12-round magazines. Proof and import markings include Made in Japan with import marks from Legacy Sports, Reno, NV. The short-action configuration is indicated by the EGW base marking.
