The Performance Center treatment includes a ported 3.125-inch stainless-steel barrel, a ported slide with lightening/vent cuts, and a tuned action with a hinged trigger. HI-VIZ fiber-optic sights—green front and red rear—are fixed for a bright, clear sight picture.
The slide and barrel are stainless steel with a black Armornite finish. The polymer frame features the M2.0 grip texture for secure handling. This micro-size Shield has approximate dimensions of 6.1 inches long, 0.95 inches wide, and 4.6 inches high.
Controls are straightforward: striker-fired action, manual thumb safety, hinged trigger safety, and a left-side magazine release. It is capable of firing with the magazine removed (no magazine disconnect). Capacity is 7+1, and it ships with two 6-round and one 7-round factory magazines.
