What’s Included
- Marlin Model 81 DL bolt-action rifle
This Model 81 DL chambers .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle, feeding from a fixed tubular magazine with a removable inner tube. Capacity is 17+1 with .22 LR, providing extended shooting between reloads.
The 24 inch barrel pairs with open sights: a ramp front with a dovetailed blade and an elevator-adjustable open rear sight. The receiver is not grooved for tip-off scope mounts; however, two drilled-and-tapped holes on the right rear of the receiver accept an aperture sight.
The stock is walnut/hardwood with a straight-comb, uncheckered profile, sling loops, and a ribbed buttplate. Marlin’s signature bullseye inlay is present. The bolt features a straight handle with a round knob for a simple, familiar feel.
Controls include a sliding, two-position safety. The blued finish complements the traditional look, and the length of pull measures 14 inches. This rifle was made in the United States.
