This Egyptian-made Maadi ARM Sporter is an AKM-pattern semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62x39 with a 16.3 in chrome-lined, threaded barrel. It features a post-1989 import configuration with a one-piece thumbhole wood stock and a welded muzzle thread protector. Imported by A.C.C. International/INTRAC of Knoxville, TN, it carries the correct import mark, a 1993 cartouche on the rear sight block, and includes a Maadi Final Inspection Certificate dated 22/04/1995 that matches the rifle’s serial. The stamped receiver has magazine-well dimples and a ribbed top cover, and there is no left-side optics rail.

Built on the AKM platform, this rifle uses a stamped steel receiver with magazine-well dimples and a ribbed top cover, finished in black. It operates via a long-stroke gas piston with a rotating bolt and uses a right-side safety lever. Capacity is 30+1 with the included standard AK-pattern detachable magazines.
The 16.3 in chrome-lined barrel is threaded and fitted with a thread protector that is welded in place. Sighting is traditional AKM: a protected front post and a tangent rear sight leaf. A cleaning rod is present beneath the barrel.
Furniture is the post-1989 import configuration with a one-piece thumbhole wood stock featuring a bottom sling swivel, paired with a laminated lower handguard with palm swell and a wood upper handguard. Length of pull measures 13.5 in. There is no left-side optics rail.
Receiver markings read "ARM Semi Automatic Rifle" by Maadi Company, Cairo, Egypt. The rifle bears the A.C.C. INT/INTRAC Knoxville, TN Egypt import mark and a '93 cartouche on the rear sight block. Provenance includes a Maadi Final Inspection Certificate dated 22/04/1995 that matches the rifle. Two 30-round steel magazines and one 10-round steel magazine are included, along with a green web sling and the Maadi ARM operation manual.
