This example is upgraded with an aftermarket flared magazine well and includes two 17-round factory magazines.

This example is German-made and carries DE proof marks, with HKI – Columbus, GA import markings. The slide, barrel, and frame share matching serial numbers.
The barrel is steel, cold hammer-forged, and features polygonal rifling with a 1:9.8 RH twist. The result is a durable bore design paired with the VP9’s reliable operating system and a 17+1 capacity.
Ergonomics are a strong point: the polymer frame includes interchangeable backstraps and side panels, molded texturing, and finger grooves. Ambidextrous slide-stop levers and a Picatinny/M1913 accessory rail support adaptable use without compromising control.
Slide features include rear charging supports (wings) for added leverage, a rear striker status indicator, and an extractor witness mark with a red line for loaded-chamber status at a glance. Sights are three-dot irons with a green front dot and a green two-dot rear.
This pistol is upgraded with an aftermarket flared magazine well. The funnel-shaped opening aids magazine insertion and supports confident reloads.
