The M&P 30 Shield EZ pairs a stainless-steel barrel and stainless-steel slide with Smith & Wesson's matte black Armornite finish for corrosion resistance. Its compact footprint includes a 3.675 in barrel, 6.80 in overall length, 5.05 in height, and 1.04 in width, with an approximate unloaded weight of 21.6 oz.
This model (SKU 13458) is the manual thumb safety variant and also features a grip safety, a tactile loaded-chamber indicator, and a loaded-chamber viewport. Disassembly does not require pulling the trigger. The reversible magazine release supports either hand without parts changes.
EZ-series elements include scalloped cocking serrations to reduce racking effort and easy-load magazine tabs. The pistol is equipped with steel 3-dot sights, with a dovetailed steel white-dot front and a dovetailed, windage-adjustable steel white-dot rear. An integral Picatinny-style accessory rail accommodates compatible accessories.
The internal hammer-fired, single-action, locked-breech, recoil-operated system is chambered in .30 Super Carry.
