The KGP-161 configuration pairs a 6-inch full-underlug stainless barrel with an adjustable rear sight and a quick-change black ramp front blade. The serrated top rib and fully shrouded ejector rod round out the barrel features.
Its stainless steel construction includes the frame, barrel, cylinder, and receiver, all in a satin stainless finish. The revolver uses Ruger’s one-piece frame with no sideplate and a triple-locking, fluted six-shot cylinder.
This GP100 operates DA/SA with a smooth-faced trigger and an exposed hammer featuring a checkered spur. It employs Ruger’s transfer-bar ignition and transfer-bar safety system.
Factory sighting components include a square-notch adjustable rear and a quick-change front ramp blade. The revolver is fitted with aftermarket Pachmayr Gripper rubber finger-groove grips.
