Construction and finish are true to form: a color case-hardened steel frame paired with a blued steel barrel and blued steel cylinders. The one-piece aluminum-alloy grip frame is fitted with black checkered 'American Eagle' pattern grips bearing Rampant Colt medallions. Fixed sights consist of a blade front and a topstrap groove rear.
Barrel markings include the left-side rollmark "PEACEMAKER .22" and a Colt Hartford address on the barrel top. The ejector rod wears a bull's-eye style head with a scroll motif, adding period-correct detail. A G-prefix serial aligns this revolver with the 1970s production series, with this example manufactured in 1975.
