The X-Compact configuration pairs a 3.6 inch barrel with a compact-length grip designed for 15-round magazines, yielding a 15+1 capacity in a streamlined form factor. The X-Compact grip module includes SIG medallion panels and a mild beavertail for secure, consistent indexing.
The slide is finished in black Nitron and features front and rear cocking serrations, an external extractor, and a non-threaded muzzle. A tall front post with a bright green dot provides a clear aiming reference, while rear sighting is handled via the optic housing/shroud.
This striker-fired model uses a flat-faced trigger and has ambidextrous slide catch levers with a reversible magazine release. It has no external manual safety. The dust cover includes an M1913 (Picatinny) accessory rail for mounting lights or other compatible accessories.
The modular P320 system centers on a serialized stainless-steel fire control unit visible through the frame window. The frame is marked NEWINGTON, NH, USA, and magazines are steel units stamped MADE IN ITALY. Construction combines a polymer grip module with a stainless-steel receiver for durability and serviceability.
