Made in Italy by Brixia and imported by Chiappa Firearms (Dayton, OH), this Field Grade 1911 carries CIP N proofing and clear origin and importer markings. It reflects the classic Government-format with a 5-inch barrel and full-size profile.
The build centers on a steel, single-stack frame and slide finished in matte black. Chambered in .45 ACP with an 8+1 capacity, it adheres to the traditional 1911 layout and dimensions.
GI-style fixed sights include a staked front blade and a low-profile rear set in a dovetail. The slide features rear-only vertical serrations. Safety features are true to the platform with a grip safety and a left-side thumb safety.
Controls and touchpoints include a solid, non-skeletonized trigger and a spur hammer. Smooth wood grips complete the classic presentation. The SKU/MPN observed on the box label is 440.132.
