Built in 1976 during New Haven production, this Model 70 is a classic Post-64 push-feed configuration in the .375 H&H Magnum chambering. It uses a push-feed bolt with a plunger ejector and small extractor, and the bolt body is jeweled. The receiver is drilled and tapped with plug screws, and Winchester proof marks are present.

The 24-inch blued steel sporter barrel carries a Winchester Proof Steel barrel marking and is fitted with a ramped front blade and a barrel-mounted adjustable rear sight on an island base. The bore is excellent with sharp rifling, consistent with careful use.

The walnut Monte Carlo stock is set up for right-handed use with a cheekpiece, fine checkering, a black forend tip with white spacer, and a black grip cap with white spacer. A crossbolt reinforces the stock, and a ventilated recoil pad and QD sling swivels are installed.

Feeding is through an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate, offering a 3+1 capacity in .375 H&H Magnum. The rifle is finished in a uniform blue over its steel receiver and barrel, aligning with its period-correct 1970s configuration.

Length of pull measures 13.5 inches. Overall, this is a clean, well-kept example of a 1970s Winchester Model 70 in a classic dangerous-game cartridge with factory iron sights and period features.
