The Sub-Compact variant of the PX4 Storm uses a short-recoil tilting barrel rather than the rotating barrel found on larger PX4 models. It pairs a 3 inch stainless steel barrel with a compact frame and a 10+1 capacity in 9mm Luger, making it a strong choice for those who prefer a DA/SA, hammer-fired carry pistol.
The slide wears a matte black Bruniton finish with front and rear cocking serrations for easy manipulation. A transverse takedown pin above the trigger identifies the Sub-Compact pattern and provides straightforward field-stripping. The black fiberglass-reinforced polymer frame keeps weight down while maintaining durability.
Controls are well executed: an external spurred hammer, bilateral slide-mounted safety/decocker levers with a red fire dot, and internal safeties including a firing pin block and out-of-battery safety. A short MIL-STD-1913 rail is molded into the dustcover for mounting compatible accessories as needed.
The pistol is equipped with 3-dot iron sights, with both the front and rear blades marked by Trijicon and stamped "H3 15." Markings include "GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY," Beretta USA Corp., MD importer mark, and "PB 9x19" on the barrel hood. The ejection port and frame carry safety warnings, including "Fires without magazine," and the serial number appears on the slide, barrel hood, and frame plate. The included steel magazines feature witness holes.
