It is a compact .45 ACP 1911 configured for carry with a two-tone finish, ambidextrous controls, and practical defensive upgrades throughout.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Light signs of wear and handling are present with some surface scratches. The slide does not catch on an empty magazine.

Built as part of Kimber’s Custom Defense Package, this Pro CDP II integrates carry-focused features from the factory. The Carry Melt de-horned treatment smooths edges across the pistol, and the two-tone configuration pairs a satin silver stainless slide with a black KimPro II finished aluminum alloy frame for a distinctive, purposeful look.
The 4-inch Pro-length, match-grade, bushingless bull barrel is paired with a full-length guide rod for consistent lockup in a compact 1911 format. A lowered and flared ejection port and rear cocking serrations on the slide support reliable operation and positive manipulation.
Controls are set up for confident handling, including an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a raised memory pad. The skeletonized three-hole trigger and Commander-style skeletonized hammer complement the carry setup, while checkering on the front strap, under the trigger guard, and on the flat mainspring housing enhances grip.
Sight picture is straightforward with fixed, low-profile 3-dot sights; the rear sight’s face is horizontally serrated to help reduce glare. Practical touches include a loaded-chamber witness hole in the barrel hood and de-horned slide edges. Capacity is 7+1 in .45 ACP.
