Built at Jianshe Arsenal and marked with the Factory /26\ triangle and Chinese '五六式' characters, this Type 56 carries the correct import stamp from PW ARMS, REDMOND, WA. It retains the classic SKS profile with a steel receiver in a blued finish and a bolt carrier and bayonet left in-the-white.
Collector details include matching partial serial '45559' observed on the bolt carrier, trigger guard/magazine floorplate, and buttstock. An importer-applied serial number is present in addition to the original factory markings.
The rifle uses the standard SKS fixed internal 10-round box magazine and operates via a semi-automatic short-stroke gas piston with a tilting bolt. It has a 20.5 inch barrel and a 12.25 inch length of pull, paired with iron sights consisting of a hooded front post and a tangent rear sight.
Hardwood furniture with an oil/varnish finish, a ventilated wooden upper handguard, and a left-side buttstock sling swivel complete the traditional layout. A slotted muzzle attachment is installed, and the original under-barrel cleaning rod and canvas sling remain in place.
