The Dan Wesson DWX is a recent-release, full-size 9mm built around a single-action-only fire control system and a 5.0 in match-grade, bushing-less barrel. It wears a black DLC Duty finish over a stainless steel frame and slide, with a full-length railed dustcover, ambidextrous thumb safety, and a flat skeletonized trigger. Fiber-optic front and fully adjustable rear sights, aggressive checkering, and red anodized aluminum grips round out a purpose-built configuration.

The DWX combines a black DLC Duty-finished slide and stainless steel frame for durability and a uniform, low-glare appearance. A full-length railed dustcover with 1913 Picatinny rail supports light or accessory mounting, while front and rear cocking serrations provide positive manipulation. Checkered frontstrap and backstrap enhance grip traction, and a rear frame lanyard loop is included.
Its 5.0 in match-grade, bushing-less barrel and link-less locked-breech system emphasize accuracy and smooth cycling. The pistol operates in single-action only with an ambidextrous thumb safety for bilateral control. A flat, skeletonized trigger (red) and a rowel-style hammer complete the fire control suite.
Sight configuration features a fiber-optic front and a fully adjustable rear. The slide uses a CZ Shadow 2–style rear sight cut and a 1911-style front sight dovetail, and takedown is CZ-style via the slide stop.
Capacity is 19+1, and the pistol comes with one 19-round and one 15-round double-stack steel magazine, both with red followers. The magazines provide extended and standard-length options.
