What's Included
- Marlin Model 1894C .357 Mag lever-action rifle
Chambered in .357 Magnum, this Model 1894C carbine features an 18.5 in round, blued barrel and a full-length tubular magazine for an 8+1 capacity. It feeds through a right-side loading gate and uses a standard lever loop, with two barrel bands securing the barrel and magazine tube.
The sighting system is classic Marlin: a hooded ramp front sight paired with an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight with a stepped elevator. The receiver is drilled and tapped and comes fitted with plug screws. The overall finish is blued.
Stocked in walnut, the rifle has a straight-grip, uncheckered carbine stock with a black hard Marlin buttplate and white-line spacer. Length of pull measures 13.5 in, offering a traditional carbine fit and handling.
This is a JM-marked North Haven production gun. The JM proof mark is located on the right rear of the barrel. The serial prefix 21 aligns with Marlin’s dating formula (100 minus the first two digits), confirming 1979 manufacture in the United States.
