The LE6920 is Colt Defense's AR-15 platform Law Enforcement Carbine, identified by its LE-prefix serial and receiver rollmark that reads RESTRICTED MILITARY/GOVERNMENT LAW ENFORCEMENT/EXPORT USE ONLY. The lower also bears COLTS LAW ENFORCEMENT CARBINE CAL. 5.56MM and COLT DEFENSE HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A., with the Rampant Colt logo. The flat-top upper features a T-marked Picatinny rail and shows Colt's C and the Cerro keyhole forging marks.

The 16-inch M4/Government-profile barrel includes the M203 step-cut, a 1:7 rifling twist, and a threaded muzzle with an A2 flash hider. It uses a carbine-length gas system and Colt's direct-impingement operating system. Nominal capacity is 30+1 with standard AR-15 magazines.
A Knight's Armament RAS II free-float rail is installed. Its over-receiver bridge provides free-float while maintaining a rigid interface, and it comes with a Knight's ribbed rail panel and a GG&G vertical foregrip. This setup offers durable, proven mounting surfaces across the handguard.
Sighting is handled by an A2 fixed front sight base with bayonet lug and a Troy Industries Folding Battle Sight at the rear. Furniture includes a Magpul CTR adjustable stock with friction lock and QD sling swivel, plus a Magpul pistol grip. A front sling loop adapter is mounted on the FSB for flexible sling placement.
