Built by SIG Custom Works, the STAS configuration centers on a stainless steel slide and frame, a 5-inch bushingless bull barrel, and a full-size profile for stability and control. The pistol includes a pronounced beavertail, vertical checkering on the frontstrap and backstrap, and an alloy flared magwell to support fast, consistent handling.
The single-action-only trigger is flat, skeletonized, and user-adjustable with an over-travel screw. An ambidextrous manual safety and skeletonized ring-style hammer complement the SAO setup, emphasizing a crisp, repeatable trigger press and positive controls.
The slide features front and rear serrations and an optics cut accessed via the removable rear sight plate. For precise aiming out of the box, it ships with a fiber-optic front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight. A 5-slot MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail on the dust cover provides accessory mounting.
