Built on a stamped Bulgarian 1 mm receiver with a ribbed top cover, this SLR-104FR follows the AK-74 pattern and uses a long-stroke gas piston with a rotating bolt. It is marked Made in Bulgaria with Arsenal Inc., Las Vegas, NV importer marking and accepts standard AK-74 pattern magazines.
The 16.25-inch barrel is chrome-lined and cold hammer-forged, threaded 24x1.5 mm RH at the front sight block, and fitted with an AK-74 two-chamber muzzle brake secured by a detent. A bayonet lug is present, and the cleaning rod is installed.
Furniture includes a factory left-side folding black polymer stock with a metal hinge and rear sling loop, a checkered black polymer pistol grip, and black polymer handguards with a ribbed lower bearing a US marking. The receiver has a factory left-side optics/accessory side rail. Length of pull is 12.75 inches.
Sights are iron, with a protected post front and AK-pattern tangent rear. Controls include the selector/safety lever and a two-stage trigger. The rifle has a black finish and a typical capacity of 30+1.
