The CDS9 platform is a micro-size, double-stack 9mm designed for high capacity in a compact footprint. This example supports 10-, 13-, and 15-round magazines and is supplied with all three capacities, allowing the user to balance capacity and concealment. Overall dimensions are 6.2 in in length, 5.0 in in height, and 1.1 in in width, with an approximate weight of 21 oz.
The 3.18 in stainless steel barrel is match-grade, ramped, and finished with a recessed crown. Its 5R rifling and 1:10 twist provide consistent bullet stabilization while easing cleaning and maintenance of the bore.
The slide includes front and rear cocking serrations, an external extractor, a lowered and flared ejection port, and lightening cuts near the muzzle. It is cut for RMSc-footprint optics. The iron sight set pairs a TAG Fiber-Lok green fiber-optic front with a plain, serrated square-notch rear for a clean sight picture.
The aluminum-alloy frame wears a gray KimPro II finish, matched to a black slide for the Shadow Ghost two-tone look. Controls include a reversible, ambidextrous magazine release and a curved trigger, with an external hammer in a single-action, hammer-fired (SAO) system. An accessory rail is integrated for compatible lights or accessories.
Additional engineering touches include a dual recoil spring assembly with a service life rated to approximately 10,000 rounds. Made in the USA, the CDS9 series was introduced in 2024 and was shown at SHOT Show 2025, reflecting its status as a recent release.
