The rifle is built on a forged AR-15 receiver set with an integral trigger guard. The lower is marked "MODEL: Z-15" and "CAL: MULTI." It uses a direct impingement gas system with a 16-inch barrel and a threaded muzzle capped with an A2-pattern flash hider. A forward assist and case deflector are present.
Up top, the BCM-marked upper receiver pairs with a BCM MCMR-15 free-float 15-inch M-LOK handguard made from 6061-T6 aluminum. The handguard features a T-marked top rail for precise accessory placement. A low-profile M-LOK angled foregrip/hand stop is installed.
The fire control has been upgraded to an ICONIC two-stage skeletonized trigger with approximately 2 lb of take-up and an approximate 3.5 lb break. This is a notable enhancement over standard mil-spec triggers and provides a defined two-stage feel.
Furniture includes a B5 Systems adjustable stock and B5 Systems pistol grip. The length of pull is 11.5 inches. A manual safety is fitted, and overall capacity is 30+1. The rifle is made in the USA.
