What's Included

- Four 9-round S&W factory 10mm steel magazines (one marked "AccuGuide TM Patent Pending")
The Model 1076 is a Third Generation S&W semi-auto with a double-action/single-action system and a frame-mounted decocker. This decocker-only configuration has no manual safety, aligning with the model’s design intent for streamlined duty use. The smooth-face trigger complements the DA/SA action for consistent control.
Its construction is all stainless, including a 4.25 in stainless barrel, with a matte bead-blast finish on the slide and frame. The slide uses an external extractor with an enlarged ejection port and round slide plugs. The frame incorporates checkering/serrations on the front strap and trigger-guard face, a squared trigger guard, and a rounded beavertail.
Sighting is handled by fixed, low-mount 3-dot irons: a single-dot front and two-dot rear. The grip is a one-piece wraparound synthetic unit with an S&W medallion and molded Smith & Wesson banner. Capacity is 9+1, and this example includes four factory 9-round magazines.
Marked on the frame as a Model 1076 and built in the USA, this pistol dates to the early 1990s. The Model 1076 is widely noted for its historical association with FBI selection, and total production is commonly cited at around 13,805 units, adding meaningful context for collectors of S&W Third Generation pistols.
