Manufactured in Turkey by Huglu and imported by CZ-USA, this Mallard model reflects the line that concluded in 2015. The receiver wears a coin (silver) finish with factory-applied simple scroll and rosette engraving, complemented by a starburst detail on the top lever boss. Import markings from CZ-USA Kansas City, KS and HUGLU are present, with additional import markings observed on the barrel.
The 28-inch blued barrels feature a ventilated top rib with a single brass bead, giving a clean sight picture. The chrome-lined bores are threaded for interchangeable flush chokes and set up for 3-inch shells. Operation is via extractors (non-ejector), and capacity is two rounds.
Controls and firing components emphasize reliability and simplicity: double mechanical triggers and a tang safety. The gun balances around an approximate weight of 7.4 lb, offering a steady, predictable swing.
The walnut stock has a pistol grip, cut checkering, and a rubber recoil pad, with a 14.5-inch length of pull. Included choke set covers a broad range: Full, Improved Modified, Modified, a second Improved Modified, and Cylinder.
