The PT 24/7 G2 Standard is a full-size 9mm with a 4.2 inch barrel and a 17+1 capacity, offering a strong blend of capacity and control. Its striker-fired DA/SA system with double-strike capability provides second-strike operation without cycling the slide.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the manual safety/decocker, slide stop, and magazine release. Safety features include a trigger safety, firing pin block, and the Taurus Security System keyed lock.
Sighting is straightforward and adjustable, with a fixed front sight and a low-profile adjustable rear sight. An integral 3-slot Picatinny accessory rail supports mounting lights or other compatible accessories. The barrel hood includes a loaded-chamber witness slot for quick visual confirmation.
