The GSG-1911 AD-OPS is a rimfire 1911 built around a single-action blowback system, sized like a traditional Government model. It retains the familiar 1911 controls and ergonomics while offering a 10+1 capacity in .22 LR for economical range time.
The AD-OPS configuration adds practical muzzle features: a factory-threaded barrel with a metric M9x0.75 pattern, a GSG faux suppressor/barrel shroud, a thread adapter, and a knurled protector. This setup gives the pistol a distinctive profile and flexibility at the muzzle.
Sight picture is straightforward with three fixed yellow dots, and both the front blade and rear unit are dovetailed. The slide is serrated and uses an external extractor. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a grip safety. A skeletonized commander-style hammer and 3-hole skeletonized trigger complete the 1911-style fire controls.
Construction pairs a steel barrel with a zinc-alloy slide and frame, finished in black anodizing over a matte black appearance. An integral 1913/Picatinny dust-cover rail is built into the frame for mounting rail-compatible accessories. Double-diamond checkered polymer grips provide a classic 1911 grip texture.
