The Lite configuration uses a ventilated aluminum upper with elongated lightening ports over a tensioned, cold hammer-forged stainless-steel barrel. The 4.40-inch barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and finished to match the black anodized upper.
Ruger’s Mark IV one-button takedown makes fieldstripping straightforward. The pistol operates on a straight blowback, single-action system and includes a manual safety. A curved, gold-colored trigger is factory fitted.
Sight equipment is simple and practical: a fixed front blade and an adjustable rear. The receiver is aluminum with a black anodized finish and is marked “LITE” and “RUGER MARK IV — 22LR PRESCOTT AZ USA.” A factory rail/scope mount is present.
