The heart of this V7 is its 16-inch chrome-moly-vanadium steel barrel, cold hammer forged and chrome lined for durability and service life. It is threaded 1/2x28 with a 1:7 twist to stabilize a wide range of 5.56 NATO projectiles. The mid-length gas system is paired with a free-float setup to support consistent performance.
The Daniel Defense MFR 15.0 M-LOK handguard is lightweight aluminum and provides extensive accessory mounting. It features a continuous 1913 Picatinny top rail with T-markings, and is marked with US Patent No. 7,716,865. The installed M-LOK vertical foregrip adds control and is easily repositioned as needed.
Receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish. The upper includes a forward assist, shell deflector, and ejection-port dust cover. The bolt carrier is marked with the DD monogram, underscoring factory pedigree and parts compatibility within the DDM4 series.
This rifle uses the AR-15 direct impingement system with a manual safety and accepts AR-15/STANAG magazines. It ships with a 30-round PMAG and is configured with a collapsible polymer stock, an overmolded surface for traction, and a textured polymer pistol grip. An ambidextrous charging handle is installed for enhanced handling, and the aftermarket multi-port brake/compensator reduces muzzle movement. Made in the USA.
