What’s Included
- CVA Kentucky Rifle percussion muzzleloader chambered in .50 caliber
This full-size Kentucky Rifle reproduction retains the long, slim profile associated with the type, built around a 33.5 inch octagonal steel barrel. It is a single-shot muzzleloader configured for black powder only.
The percussion sidelock ignition uses a drum-and-nipple bolster with a clean-out screw, and a single trigger actuates an external hammer. Length of pull measures 12.75 inches.
The rifle wears a full-length two-piece hardwood stock fitted with extensive brass furniture, including the buttplate, trigger guard, nose cap, ramrod pipes, and a long toe plate. The butt profile is a gently curved crescent.
Sighting equipment consists of iron sights: a dovetailed blade front and a fixed rear notch, consistent with traditional long-rifle layout.
Markings include the barrel roll-marked "CONNECTICUT VALLEY ARMS, Inc. KENTUCKY Rifle MADE IN SPAIN Black Powder Only .50 Caliber" and Spanish proof symbols with "700 kp/cm2." The lockplate shows foliate/sunburst engraving, and the rifle is marked Made in Spain.
