The SAM7SF uses a milled receiver produced from a hot-die hammer-forged blank, delivering a solid foundation for the AK-47 platform. It is chambered in 7.62x39 and operates via a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt.
Its 16.3 in cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel features 6-groove rifling with a 1:9.44 in twist. The front sight base carries 24x1.5 mm RH threads and an AK-74-pattern muzzle brake. The bore condition and rifling are both rated Good, consistent with a clean, well-maintained barrel.
The metal right-side folding stock with a ribbed buttpad offers compact storage while maintaining a 14.0 in length of pull for shooting comfort. Controls include an ambidextrous safety with a left thumb lever linkage, paired with a single-hook FIME Enhanced FCG for a clean, consistent trigger pull.
