What's Included
- ROHM RG 40 .38 Special revolver
The RG 40 is built as a snub-nose, small-frame revolver with a 2-inch barrel and a round-butt grip frame for compact handling. Its six-shot fluted cylinder uses a star-type ejector for straightforward extraction.
Controls and sighting are simple and robust. It uses a right-side frame-mounted cylinder-release thumbpiece, an external hammer for DA/SA operation, and fixed sights consisting of a serrated ramped front and a square-notch rear integral to the topstrap.
The topstrap features a longitudinally serrated rib with a front vent slot to reduce glare. The revolver wears a blued/black finish across the frame and cylinder, complemented by one-piece checkered brown synthetic grips with RG medallions.
This example is a U.S.-made, Miami-marked RG Industries production from the post-1968 GCA period, providing clear provenance and a straightforward configuration for practical use or collection.
