The Stealth Arms Platypus 17 is a recent 9mm release built on a 1911-style, single-action platform that uniquely accepts Glock 17 pattern double-stack magazines. This compact, Commander-length pistol pairs a 4.25-inch 416R bushing barrel with a carbon-steel slide featuring lightening windows, and a 7075-T6 aluminum frame. Finished in a pink/black two-tone and manufactured in Celina, Ohio, it includes practical sights and a dust-cover Picatinny rail with four slots.

The Platypus 17 uses a 1911 single-action, hammer-fired system with an ambidextrous thumb safety and grip safety. A skeletonized trigger and skeletonized rowel hammer provide a crisp, familiar control layout. Sights consist of a green fiber-optic front and a black serrated rear notch for a clear, no-glare sight picture.
Its Commander-length 4.25-inch bushing barrel is made from 416R stainless steel, and the slide is carbon steel with weight-reducing lightening windows and only rear cocking serrations. Markings include PLATYPUS and STEALTH ARMS on the slide, a 9MM chamber mark, and underside marking 1911 COM PLATYPUS 17.
The 7075-T6 aluminum frame features an integral double-stack grip with aggressive oval chain-link texture and a flared magwell for confident handling and efficient reloads. A Picatinny dust-cover rail with four slots supports common rail-mounted accessories.
Designed to accept Glock 17 pattern 9mm double-stack magazines, this pistol offers a nominal 17+1 capacity. One OEM 17-round magazine is included. The pink/black two-tone finish completes a distinctive, purpose-built configuration made in the USA.
