The Ultralight variant is identified by clear factory markings: "ULTRALIGHT" on the slide and "SAS II" on the frame, with the chamber marked "9MM." The right side of the slide carries the U.S. import line, and the pistol is stamped "MADE IN ISRAEL" and "BUL ARMORY USA, MIAMI, FL." These markings match the model, configuration, and origin.
The slide is finished in black PVD and includes front and rear cocking serrations, lightening cuts, and three top-side slots to reduce mass. A removable rear-sight plate is secured by two screws, pairing with a serrated, adjustable square-notch rear sight and a green fiber-optic front sight set in a dovetail for a bright, precise sight picture.
The 3.25-inch bushingless conical bull barrel is paired with a full-length guide rod for controlled cycling in a compact format. The aluminum alloy frame is black anodized and incorporates an integral Picatinny accessory rail with three slots on the dust cover. Unloaded weight is approximately 23.6 oz per factory specification.
Controls and ergonomics reflect the 1911 platform: single-action, hammer-fired operation with a manual thumb safety and grip safety. The pistol uses a skeletonized commander-style hammer and a skeletonized, short, curved trigger with lightening holes. The polymer grip module provides an aggressive molded texture with molded checkering on the frontstrap. A separate flared magazine well is included but not installed.
