What’s Included
- Colt M1911 U.S. Army .45 ACP pistol
- 1x 7-round steel single-stack magazine with lanyard-loop pinned base
Made in 1918 (MFD. 1918), this M1911 bears the right-side slide legend "MODEL OF 1911. U.S. ARMY." and the left-side patent block with maker line and Rampant Colt logo. It retains the vertical rear slide serrations typical of WWI production and carries an S17 acceptance stamp.
As a pre-1911A1 pattern, it has the long, smooth single-action trigger, short grip-safety tang, flat mainspring housing with lanyard loop, and no frame relief cuts. Its controls are the early checkered style, including the wide-spur hammer, slide stop, thumb safety, magazine catch, and recoil spring plug.
The pistol is built on a forged carbon steel frame and receiver with a blued finish. Sights are fixed, with a half-moon front and a small rear notch, consistent with its WWI-era configuration. Checkered walnut double-diamond stocks complete the period-correct appearance.
